Born and raised in Hangzhou, China, Zoe is now based in Shanghai and works with Daedalum Films full-time. She earned a Video and Film degree from the China Academy of Art, garnering multiple scholarships and awards along the way including Excellent Graduate of Zhejiang Province, Best Art Director, and the China Academy of Art's Academy Award. She speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, Hangzhou dialect, and English, and is fast developing an ear for Shanghainese dialect.

Zoe has and education in and experience with all aspects of filmmaking from pre-production through post-production, and has a particular talent for art direction. She has worked on several promotional films for the Hangzhou tourism authority, the Shanghai World Expo, and the China Academy of Art, as well as a multitude of student short films. Prior to joining Daedalum Films, Zoe held internships with Zhejiang Television, the Zhujiang Film Studio, and directed videos for the language education website nihaoareyou.com.

Zoe is an experienced user of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Avid, Photoshop, After Effects, Shake, AutoCAD, Combustion, and CorelDRAW.
